We make interior pollution visible
Measure air quality in classrooms.
Safe school environments.
Indoor air can be up to 5 times more polluted.
Our sensors analyze up to 11 air pollutant particles that affect the health and productivity of people in their direct environments.
Cross-ventilated classroom

The best way to prevent aerosols from building up is to ventilate the room by keeping theWindows and doors open on opposite sides.
The air intake expels and dilutes the particles emitted by the people in the classroom.
It is important to renew the interior air by allowing the entry of exterior air through the windows.

Check that the ventilation is correct through the CO2 levels. The software sends automatic alerts if any of the values exceed normal levels.
The autonomous communities may return to the number of students per class before the pandemic, if they consider it so and as long as the safety distances are respected. (Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain). An application scheme must be considered for each classroom and student ratio. Ratios: 25 in Primary, 30 in ESO and 35 in Bachiller.
We carry out consulting, measurement and development of environmental technology solutions for private and public spaces.

High CO2 = low performance
In addition to the prevention of contagion, TALES180º measures important parameters for thehealth and school performanceof the students.
"Poor classroom ventilation increases the risk of contagion, but it also has consequences for student performance."

Advantages for student health and performance:
-
keep thetemperatureand climatic comfort for students.
-
Control of the level of exposure to possiblepollutantschemical and biological.
-
improve theventilationand control the accumulation of CO2.
What gases and particles does TALES180º measure and how do they affect health?
CO2 levels
Its accumulation is an indicator of the need to ventilate and renew the air to prevent airborne infections.
Ozone
Its concentration at levels close to the ground is toxic. Generated from NO2, VOCS, CO. Causes nasal and eye irritation, respiratory and cardiac problems.
formaldehyde levels
It is part of the VOC group and is present in varnishes, textiles, furniture. They irritate the skin, cause headaches and nasal congestion.
Carbon monoxide
It is generated in incomplete combustion with little oxygen. Causes headaches, dizziness, nausea and drowsiness.
PM2.5 particles
PM2.5 are the most present breathable particles in cities and are directly related to respiratory conditions.
NO2
Gas formed during combustion processes, by oxidation of nitrogen present in the atmosphere. Causes eye and throat irritation, difficulty breathing.
